CANON | EMEA COMPETITION CAMPAIGN
Inspiring an audience to see ‘Light in the Dark’.
Canon wanted to inspire their talented audience to challenge their craft with a unique photo competition.
We had to reach as many photo fans as possible, without a limitless global budget and all in the midst of COVID travel restrictions
We secured top photo Youtube influencer Kai W to front the competition and created a format that worked with his unique style. We enlisted a team of Canon ambassadors to draw in as many competition entries as possible by sharing their top photo tips. We remotely produced 10 how to films in 6 countries across Europe. Finally we captured the judging process and the awarding of the prize to a very excited winner.
The resulting calls to action and photo ‘how to’s’ inspired over 30K+ competition entries. And we did it all again the next year, this time working with new Canon Ambassadors across Europe, South Africa and Kenya.
